Tahoe City
The heart of the North and West Shore, Tahoe City is the definition of all things Lake Tahoe. With the only “Lakefront” downtown in Lake Tahoe’s 72 miles of shoreline, this charming town is littered with local shops, restaurants, and services. A thriving local community who understands the tourism based economy, Tahoe City offers a multitude of year round activities. Enjoy the summertime music in the park series, Wednesday night movies at Commons Beach, Thursday Farmers Markets, 4th of July Firework, and the endless list of art, wine and music festivals. In the winter months, Tahoe City hosts the Cross Country Ski and Nordic center, is centrally located to all major alpine resorts, and the infamous Snowfest Festival in March. The more well known neighborhoods of Tahoe City include Dollar Point, The Highlands, Lake Forest Glen, Rocky Ridge, Downtown, Granlibakken, Sunnyside, and Tahoe Park. Dollar Point and Tahoe Park are also two of the three most desirable HOA’s in the greater North Lake Tahoe area.
